Red Bay Beach takes its name from the slightly colored sand.On the west end of Red Bay Beach lies Birds’ cliff and on the east there is David’s Grotto or hole. Red Bay is on the French side of St Martin island.

Plum Bay is beach in the LowLands on the French side of St Martin island. Plum Bay beach or “Baie aux Prunes” in French is a very secluded and rarely visited beach. With golden sands and water in every shade of blue under the sun, Plum Bay is the perfect beach if you are looking for quietness.
In calmer seas Plum Bay beach provides the perfect setting for snorkeling St Maarten. And with a good swell Plum Bay St Martin becomes a playground for experienced surfers.

Pelican Key

Pelican Key Beach is a collection of small beaches along Pelican Key rather than just one long beach. Along Pelican Key beach you can find resorts,villas and more importantly beach bars and restaurants !! You access to Pelican key through Simpon Bay road.

Lucas Bay – Coralita Beach

Lucas Bay Beach is also called Coralita Bay Beach due to the name of street coralita road that lead to it. Lucas Bay or Coralita Bay Beach is the last beach on the French side of the island before you enter the Dutch side. Coralita Beach is a very popular location for St Maarten diving. But beside diving the beach is rarely visited due to its exposure to Atlantic swells and East winds.

Lovers’ Beach

Lovers’ Beach or “Plage des Amoureux” in French is nestled in the rocky coastline of Pointe Arago on the French side of St Martin island. Lovers’ Beach is the smallest beach on Saint Martin and was named that way because it can only accommodate two people at a time ! Lovers’ Beach is next to Galisbay, Marigot and Friars Bay.

Kimsha Beach is a small beach whom name is quite unfamiliar to most of the people. Kimsha Beach is off Simpson road located at the entrance of Pelican Key.They are many Beach bars, restaurants and watersports activities on Kimsha Beach. It’s also a good place to admire St Maarten sunset.

Grand Case Beach

Grand Case Beach is located at the heart of the picturesque fishing village that bears its name. Grand Case Beach is a long stretch of fine sand going along the Bay. In Grand Case you will also find a large choice of fine restaurants. Grand Case Bay is sheltered and the Caribbean blue waters there are calm and clear. Divers will enjoy exploring the famous Creole Rock not far from Grand Case St Martin.

Galisbay Beach

Galisbay Beach is overlooked by Fort Louis in Marigot and it’s a good spot for snorkeling.There used to be a shipwreck which was home to numerous fish but it has been removed in October 2017.

Baie de l’embouchure

Baie de l’Embouchure is the southwards continuation of Galion Beach that runs as far as the “Etang aux Poissons”, the long strip of sand and mangrove swamp along Baie de l’Embouchure forms part of the Nature Reserve. Swept by the trade winds and protected from the Atlantic swell by a coral reef and the rocky islands of Coconut Grove, the bay offers perfect conditions for windsurfing all year round.
